Safety for the baby

The blanket should be used occasionally when out and about to cover the baby when in a stroller, bouncer or car seat.

In order to avoid any risk of danger with a blanket, it is strongly advised not to put your baby to sleep in a bed with blankets, comforters and a bumper. Specialists recommend that babies sleep only in a sleeping bag.

The use of a baby blanket must always be done under the supervision of an adult in order to prevent any accident.

It is only from the age of 3 that the child will be able to sleep with a blanket in his bed.

By purchasing a cover pattern, you acknowledge the risks associated with the product you are making. If you are offering a hand-knitted blanket, you should warn parents of the risks of using a blanket.
