Create a pretty selvedge on your garter stitch borders. You will find this technique mainly on the button tabs.
Technics:
Step 1. Cast on the number of stitches indicated in the pattern.
Step 2. Slip the right needle into the first stitch as if to knit it, and simply slip the stitch from the left needle onto the right needle WITHOUT KNITTING IT.
Step 3. Then knit all the following stitches until the end of the row.
Step 4. Turn your work over and slip your right needle into the 1st stitch as if to purl it and slip the stitch from the left needle onto the right needle, WITHOUT KNITTING IT.
Step 5. Then pass your yarn behind your work between the 2 needles.
Step 6. Knit all the following stitches until the end of the row.
Repeat steps 4.5 and 6 on all rows. Step 5 is essential ! I explain everything in detail in the video!
